Festival Gardens can also be found in Aigburth, near Aigburth Road train station, whilst they have fell a little into disrepair recently, it’s still a beautiful place for a stroll. Otterspool Promenade is another great place for a walk or bike ride in Aigburth. The straight path will take you straight into the city centre. But it’s also the perfect place for a run, with no traffic to stop your flow.

Transport

Transport into the city is readily available with Aigburth Road train station taking you straight into Liverpool Central in about ten minutes. Bus routes include the 60, 82 and 82A which will also take you right into the heart of the city, with a typical bus journey lasting around 25 minutes. Getting to Liverpool John Lennon Airport takes less than 20 minutes too, if you’re heading on a break, or you have a longer commute to work.
