Transport
There are multiple train stations located around the city centre that will take you to different areas of the city or outside of it. There’s Central Station and Moorfields which offer Northern Line routes, and then Liverpool Lime Street which has routes that run to London, Birmingham, Norwich, Manchester and more. You could use the ferry to get across the water to Birkenhead, but there’s also a bus that runs from Liverpool to Birkenhead too. If you’re looking for handy ways to get around the city centre, the Liverpool city scooters, are your quickest bet to get you from A to B. A twenty minute drive through Edge Lane, traffic-dependent, will get you onto the M62 motorway which can easily take you through to Manchester city centre and other surrounding areas.

Liverpool ONE is your main port of call when it comes to shopping in the city, with some of best known brands all located here. Zara, JD Sports, John Lewis, & Other Stories, plus many more all line the main shopping streets. But there’s plenty more dotted around the city to enjoy too, The Met Quarter offers up some of the best designer shopping with Cricket at the forefront. Peter’s Lane is also home to other luxurious brands including Reiss, Hugo Boss and Timothy Oulton.
