UKREiiF25: Driving Investment Opportunities in Liverpool

Last week, our Managing Director, Dave Seed, attended the UKREiiF 2025 annual event in Leeds, where he connected with industry leaders, explored transformative opportunities, discussed Manchester and Liverpool property management, and contributed to shaping the future of the property market.

The annual event unites over 16,000 attendees including foreign investors, developers, occupiers, local authorities, and government representatives including Deputy Prime Minister, Angela Rayner who was in attendance reiterating her commitment to modernising planning committees. The forum also provides a vibrant hub for industry peers to network and discuss key themes such as sustainable investment, regeneration, the transition to a net-zero economy, and Liverpool property investment opportunities for international buyers.

Day one kicked off with a session hosted by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, where Dave connected with key regional leaders. The day also included the launch of Liverpool’s Inward Investment Strategy, designed to attract international investment and promote sustainable growth. At Qube, we have positioned ourselves as one of the top property management services for overseas investors in Liverpool and Manchester, so this launch was particularly enjoyable for us.

Dave also attended a talk about the transformation of the River Mersey Waterfront with Colin Chong and its private investments. It is evident that the new Bramley Moore Dock and Waterfront Strategy will reform Liverpool’s renowned skyline and waterfront for the years to come.

Dave said: “Equally exciting were updates on the Liverpool and Wirral Waters projects, with Everton and the forthcoming Hill Dickinson stadium serving as powerful catalysts for change and revitalisation.

“UKREiiF provided the perfect platform to champion change and reinforce the belief that a brighter future for British housing is not only possible, but within reach.”

On the second day Dave attended the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Life Sciences Boom talk in which industry peers explored how the region is becoming a key hub for life sciences, supported by investment incentives, strong infrastructure, and significant growth potential. In addition, The Great North Liverpool Reset visionary proposal aims to transform brownfield sites and boost housing delivery for Liverpool North. This rapid increase in demand for urban living positions the city as a key player in the future of urban investment and this exciting opportunity welcomes property investment in Liverpool.

One of the standout moments of the event was the unveiling of Liverpool’s new ‘Imagine’ regeneration board. Comprising 13 experts from across the sector, including Lord Stewart Wood, former economic advisor to Gordon Brown, the board brings the kind of collaborative thinking needed to accelerate progress across the region and guide the city’s future development and economic growth.

The forum ended on a high with the Merseyside Derby of Development: Liverpool FC VS Everton FC. Both of these iconic football clubs are playing a key role in driving growth and regeneration in North Liverpool. Everton’s new stadium and Liverpool’s continued successes are helping to unlock major housing developments in the area. Initiatives like the ‘Toffee Trail’ and ‘Red Walk’ will link the stadiums with key parts of the city, boosting regeneration efforts and improving the visitor experience. Dave also caught up with Colin Chong from Everton FC to discuss the development surrounding Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Finally, Dave said “My first visit to UKREiiF is one I will remember for a long time, not only due to the new relationships and business opportunities made, but also because of the amazing content on show and the insights gained from listening to truly exciting and worthwhile stories. I’m under no doubt that I will be attending again next year.”
