One of the huge benefits of moving to Salford is the close links it has to Manchester City Centre, with great transport connections to chose from. The Metrolink, the Manchester tram line takes you through Salford, The Quays, MediaCityUK. There is also nine railway stations, the main ones being Salford Crescent and Salford Central. From Salford Central it takes just three minutes on the train to get to Manchester Victoria. From this station you can also get to Leeds, Kirkby, Rochdale, Clitheroe, Stalybridge, Southport, Blackburn and more. Peel Park opened in 1846, it’s located on the flood plain of the River Irwell and runs adjacent to the University of Salford and at the foot of the Salford Museum and Art Gallery. There’s plenty to see in the park with sculptures, tree trails, and circular flower displays scattered around this beautiful landscape.
