Manchester Arndale and the Royal Exchange Arcade offer plenty in popular brands, but if you’re looking for something a little more special you’ll find boutiques dotted around Spinningfields, New Cathedral Street and King Street. Head to the Northern Quarter if independent stores and handmade items are more your style. There’s plenty of choice when it comes to vintage stores, record shops and quaint cafes.

Manchester has plenty of options for getting in, around or out of the city in terms of transport. There’s the tram lines have 99 stops with a 64 mile length taking you to various points of Manchester including the Trafford Centre, Manchester Airport, Bury, Rochdale, Altrincham and more. The A57 that runs around Manchester City Centre gives you quick and easy access to multiple A roads and motorways to take you out of the city centre. There’s multiple train stations within the city centre too, allowing for travel locally and nationally, there’s Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Victoria, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Deansgate.
